Our First Baby Pallas Cats!

A few days ago, we had the immense pleasure to announce the first birth in the park of baby Clouded leopards (Neofelis nebulosa). Now aged 6 weeks, these two young leopard cubs can now be seen quite often in their enclosure.

After the birth of our young Siberian tiger cubs four months ago, then the Clouded leopards, we have more exciting news from the Asian sector of the park with the birth of two young Pallas Cats (Otocolobus manul) for the first time in the park.

The young Pallas Cats have had their eyes open for a few days now and are beginning to take their first tentative steps in their enclosure...

This is a real treat for visitors who spend many hours in front of the enclosure to catch a glimpse of these enchanting furballs. This is a great achievement for all the park's staff, who can be very proud, as now
24 out of the 26 species of cats
in the park have now produced offspring.

The Parc des Félins is today one of the world leaders in the quality breeding of its animals.

A name has already been chosen for the young female: Pokhara. Several names will shortly be proposed to you for the young male.
